SUPPORT SERVICES

MEDLAB’s dynamic growth has us operating at the forefront of technology and ready for a phenomenal future. Our continued success and expansion simply would not be possible without a driven team of support staff to facilitate it. Occasionally, we hire for several support positions within our laboratories. And while all of our Support Services Staff look forward to the challenges they encounter every day at MEDLAB, many view their jobs as great career inroads to more clinical laboratory positions or higher-level administrative positions. Some Support Services roles include:

Couriers
Couriers drive company vehicles and are responsible for transporting samples, supplies and other materials between facilities or from patient sites back to the laboratory. They may have a routine route or respond to needs that arise throughout the day. These positions require a clean and valid driver’s license, strong attention-to-detail, impeccable organizational and interpersonal skills, as you Couriers will be working with medical providers, other employees or other vendors.

Billing Staff
Our MEDLAB Billing Staff is responsible for ensuring that accurate and timely billing takes place to external payers – including government, third party and patients themselves. Typically successful candidates for these positions have formal training in billing or coding and/or at least two years of experience in medical billing.

Client Solutions
Client solutions staff is responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, initiating calls to clients and dispatching staff to client sites to meet requests for services. These jobs are often very demanding and require an ability to stay focused and calm as well as to multi-task between telephone calls, computer inquiries and communication with other company departments or individuals. Candidates who have telephone call center experience in a medical or scientific environment are preferred, and strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a desire to work in a team are also important for success in these roles.
